Ford f250 on 37s

2006 f-250 6.8 v-10 w/ 3.73's and 35's vs stock 31's felt some loss in power, but still towed and drove fine. 4.30's would have been nice but not worth the change. just put 33.5 m/t on my wife's 2017 f150, 5.0 with 3.31's. definitely feel a power loss, and would have been ideal to have found a truck with 3.73's.

Most 12.50 tires are designed for 8.5" width rims at minimum. 9-10" is recommended. Stock wheels are 8 inches wide. There aren't too many 12.50s that will fit 8" rims based on factory documentation. The Toyo R/T and M/Ts, for example, require an 8.5 minimum. The A/T III will do fine with a spec of 8" minimum.

I saw a video where a guy adds 1/4 inch wheel spacers and almost gets rid of rubbing. Custom Offsets offers a 1” wheel spazse that eliminates all rubbing on stock radius arm with stock wheels and 37’s. And my 6.0 is pushing these 37s around just fine. It'll be fine. Just do test fitting with rims first. I have 4.5" on 35's. 12" of gap in fender wells. I've spaced out for the extra size of 37's and once these wear out, am upsizing. I had a 3" rough country lift with 37's on 20" factory wheels. The tires did not hit the wheel wells but they did rub the frame pretty bad at full turn. The tires were 37x12.50 nitto trail grappler. I wouldn't do anything bigger than a 35 on 20x12. I personally wouldn't even go that big.
